South Padre Island
- South Padre Island is the
southernmost tropical tip of Texas and one of the best values in ocean front

Port Isabel
- Port Isabel Lighthouse State Historic Site consists of .9 acre
in Port Isabel, Cameron County. The park was acquired by purchase from private
owners, Lon C. Hill and the Port Isabel Realty Company, in 1950 and was opened
to the public in 1952.
Laguna Vista -
Laguna Vista is a quiet waterfront bedroom
community and the home of the
South Padre Island Golf Club. Family and children are important to the
community. Parks and recreational facilities as well as their new library are
the current priorities.
Laguna Vista is centrally located; not far from
South Padre Island, Port Isabel, Los Fresnos, Brownsville, San Benito and
Harlingen.
Laguna Madre
- The Laguna Madre is a large body of shallow
water separating Padre Island from the South Texas mainland. It covers
609 square miles of estuarine and coastal marine systems. The boundary
of Padre Island National Seashore encompasses approximately 20,000 acres
of the Laguna Madre. The Laguna Madre is located in parts of Cameron,
Willacy, Kenedy, Kleberg, and Nueces counties.
